This is a paper sticker. Unlike toxic vinyl stickers, do not expect it to last until our sun explodes in a few million years. Best used on indoor surfaces yet it should still last quite a while on exterior surfaces or on high use items (like the back of you laptop or tablet). Besides, don't half destroyed stickers look "experienced" like they have their own story to tell? Sticker worn out? Time to refresh your style anyway!
